Our Brand Intelligence Tribe consists of 4 squads which work together to improve two of our products: Discover and Insights. Our goal with those products is to become the absolute standard for all lifestyle companies who want to evaluate the performance of their brand, as their most valuable financial asset.

Discover is a media monitoring app helping communication and marketing teams track what is said about their brand on a day-to-day basis. Insights is a strategic benchmarking app helping brands measure their brand performance against competitors and better plan their communication strategies.

As a Data Product Director at Launchmetrics, you will be in charge of leading two squads, identifying high-level objectives in terms of Data Acquisition and Data Enrichments for our Brand Intelligence product line as well as creating, maintaining, and communicating on our data roadmap.

In short, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality (and compliant) data to our customers through our Brand Performance Cloud. To do so you’ll need to:

  • Talk (a lot!) with internal users (PMs, Tech teams) and customers to better understand their needs and articulate them into clear data requirements that can be quantified. ✅
  • Master our data processes, from data acquisition (through third party providers, social APIs, in-house crawlers), data enrichments (manual, rule-based and AI-based) and data management (datalake, APIs) to optimize data delivery within our products. 🎯
  • Scope and deliver nice internal tools to ease the day-to-day work of our Data ops teams.
  • Define the metrics and KPIs used to measure the relevance and quality of our data - and analyze them ! 
  • Work and communicate closely with Product Managers, Tech teams, Lab, CS & Sales sometimes, Marketing and C-level executives, while speaking the right language with each of them. 🗣️
  • Interact every day with a multicultural team based in Paris, Milan, Girona, Shanghai and more. Act as a key element of the integration of Parklu (the Chinese company we recently acquired) in the LM group.
  • Manage a team of data engineers and data product managers. Lead them towards success and mentor them to grow in their roles. 


Your Profile

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in Data-centric Product Management. You’ve already led a cross-functional team.
  • You love Data and have a strong interest in Data Science. You can translate business needs into data requirements and dig deep into potential solutions while keeping in mind technical and legal constraints.
  • You have a passion for solving complex data problems. You’re always eager to test new things and you’re not scared to disrupt existing processes.
  • Fast, results-oriented environments are your thing. You don’t mind getting your hands dirty, and you want to deliver the most value to your stakeholders as quickly as possible.
  • You are a kickass organizer and prioritizer. You easily see what to cut and what to keep. You know how to anticipate and mitigate risk efficiently.
  • You’re a great communicator. You know how to build compelling storytelling and nice visualization to make the data speak.
  • You realize that you’re not going to figure out all the solutions on your own. You can bring people together to find the best ideas and solve problems together.
  • Last, but definitely not least: you speak, read, and write English and Spanish fluently.

You’ll be our rockstar if

  • You have experience in the social or media monitoring industry.
  • You already worked on putting in production ML algorithms at scale.
  • Data privacy frameworks and laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc) have no secret for you.
  • You are an agile guru, knowing how to organize teams to deliver value in rapid increments.
